Nichole Williams. Esq., MBA concentrates her practice in the area of corporate law, with emphasis on general corporate matters, nonprofit organizations and exempt organizations. Ms. Williams provides her clients with one-on-one general corporate representation including entity formation, application for tax-exempt status as well as assisting clients with minority and women business enterprise certification.
Ms. Williams is a member of the Sports and Entertainment Practice Group. Her experience involves working with professional athletes, recording artists, actors, radio personalities and production companies on various matters including corporate strategies, licensing, marketing, intellectual property matters, real estate transactions as well as nonprofit initiatives. Ms. Williams and the Sports and Entertainment Practice Group understand the demands of the industry and offer clients representation in every aspect of their careers.
Ms. Williams also has experience with various intellectual property matters including copyrights and trademarks. Her intellectual property practice focuses on registering, protecting, enforcing, licensing and transferring various forms of multimedia. Ms. Williams also represents individual artists in contract negotiations for related intellectual property matters. With a great love for the arts, Ms. Williams enjoys working very closely with her clients to protect their work while allowing them to share their talents with others.
In addition to her corporate practice, Ms. Williams is also involved with various litigation matters including environmental litigation as well as local property taxation matters.
Community involvement is very important to Ms. Williams. She is very involved with several youth organizations and fundraising efforts for the students at Urban Promise in Camden, NJ . Ms. Williams organizes various fundraising events for Urban Promise, including the first annual Bowling for Urban Promise fundraising event that benefits high school students at the Urban Promise Academy.
Ms. Williams graduated from Rutgers School of Law - Camden and Rutgers School of Business where she obtained a dual degree (JD/MBA). Ms. Williams lectures at community, civic and business forums. Her speaking engagements include "Nonprofits: What You Need to Know" for the Arts & Business Partnership of Southern Jersey, "Bridging the Gap: Ethics for Newly Admitted Attorneys" and "Protecting Your Rights" at the International Black Film and Media Conference, and panel discussions at Rutgers University and various Camden schools.
