Bowling for UrbanPromise is a charity event organized by Nichole L. Williams, Esq., MBA to benefit the high school students at the UrbanPromise Academy. The event will take place at Lucky Strike Lanes located in Center City. It will be a night full of fun, great people and a little friendly competition. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with invited celebrities and area professionals. The goal for the event is to raise money through ticket sales and sponsorships while building awareness of the struggles that these amazing students have overcome. Attendees will enjoy food, drinks and (of course) bowling.

As you may know, Urban Promise is an outstanding ministry in Camden, New Jersey. Featured on 20/20 with Diane Sawyer, this 501(c)(3) New Jersey nonprofit organization has been making a difference in the lives of Camden's youth for the past 19 years through afterschool programs, summer camps, job training, The Camden Forward School, UrbanPromise Academy and a host of other life-changing programs. This event will raise much needed financial support for the high school students at the UrbanPromise Academy.

The Academy serves as a sanctuary for students who have "fallen through the cracks" of the Camden public school system. Many of these students face challenging situations with several students coming in 2 to 3 grade levels behind. Yet, they continue to strive for success and are continually grateful for the opportunities that they are given. Currently, the UrbanPromise Academy has a 95% graduation rate and 90% of the students go on to college.
